So, this is an unpleasant lesson that you're going to want to hear. I am out on the walkway in front of my apartment, and my neighbors are all small too. They're sitting around, chatting with their morning coffee.
Nobody is going to think you are sick, Ami. Not unless you are good at faking. In fact, I would definitely suggest not mentioning this to your parents unless they have the app too. They are going to be very confused if you do.
[more minutes later... had to finish descending the stairs, then finding dad, then freaking out at dad, then getting in trouble, then...]
orz I really wish I'd seen this five minutes ago Dad's tiny too, I don't even know how he got up on the counter or made coffee and you're right he doesn't think anything's wrong. he said I have to go to school or I'll be grounded :( ughhhhhhh I can't believe this! how am I even going to get there? there's no way I can make it to the bus stop in time with legs this short this sucks
That it does, but we're going to have to figure something out. I still have some time, thanks to you waking me up early. What do you say that we meet up for a jog? Better to be at school a little sweaty than not at all and grounded, yes?

Like I said, you woke me up early. I have an extra hour, and can claim that traffic got in the way. I'd rather not have a young woman traveling alone right now.

I think that I prefer that, actually. This way neither of us knows the other's address. You barely know me, so we can't just assume we're friends, but at the same time there's only about a hundred and fifty of us or so, going through all of this. We do need to watch out for each other.
