That sounds like, quite possibly, the most terrifying sight I could imagine in this world. But, what do you mean when you say that Arlene fried it? I don't doubt she has good moves, but did she get a gun that shrank with her?

yeah, it wasn't exactly a good time

arlene doesn't have a gun as far as i know

do you remember when she and i posted about that party at the warehouse and she shocked me? turns out she's got magic, which is just as crazy as it sounds

she used that to shoot lightning at the cicada before it got to us

it only gets worse from there

i don't know how half of this stuff is even possible and for some reason i can't even question it any more

I would forgive you. I wasn't an olympic class gymnast and parkour enthusiast until three months ago. None of this makes sense, and we are stuck with it.

At least it potentially has uses.

i remembered how to do this sort of almost... magic parkour a couple months ago. once i've got it mastered it should be pretty handy

Dante, we are going rooftop running one of these days. You realize this, don't you? I don't care if 'magic' means you're better than me, nobody can even keep up with me when I really get going. This is happening. I'm demanding it.

I'll keep practicing in the meantime, and one of these days, we can go for a run together. It'll be good exercise.

Something like that would be an opportunity for us to stay in practice. These feel like the sorts of skills that demand regular use.

based off my memories i don't think the other me ever really STOPPED fighting, so if i want to make the most of this i need to stay on top of it too

Mine at least took a rest from stabbing people in the throat once in a while. Always fighting, though? Wouldn't they get tired eventually?

all i know is over half the memories i've got so far either involve him fighting, or the types of creatures he was fighting, or something else along those lines

It's certainly impressive. But a lot of these hallucinations seem to involve fighting, so that appears to be a running theme for many of us. I'm not sure if it's warning us that we'll need these skills.

You know, besides when we're shrunk.

i hope not

you and i would be okay but there are a lot of us NOT remembering stuff that would be in danger

not to mention all the kids or elderly who can't take care of themselves even if they wanted to

I am afraid that this may mean that we have our work cut out for us, Dante. I am increasingly afraid that this is very much what we are being warned will come.

I hope I'm wrong, but these problems have been getting more hazardous with time.
